Interval Training Program - Reviews

Interval training has been shown to have many benefits over more traditional forms of exercise. It can increase heart health, improves lungpower which boosts your immune system, increases the metabolism thereby burning more calories enabling you to lose unwanted fat, and achieves this in a shorter amount of time which is crucial for the busy lifestyles so many of us lead today.

Two programs which incorporate interval training as one of their core components are Turbulence Training by Craig Ballantyne and FitYummyMummy which is aimed at women who have had children.

Turbulence Training is a combination of interval training and resistance training. The exercise routines it describes can be completed in as little as 45 minutes and just need to be done 3 times a week so can fit into are hectic schedules. There are interval training workouts suitable for beginners all the way up to people who are more advanced in their quest for fitness and health.

The resistance training can be done in your own home so there is no need for gym membership and includes bodyweight exercise which can be performed anywhere and dumbbell exercises.
The package also comes with good nutritional information as well. Craig Ballantyne is a recognized fitness expert and has had articles published in many magazines including Men’s Health.

Overall I find this one of the best exercise programs around. The marketing is maybe slightly off-putting to some as it seems to be concentrated on men trying to achieve 6 pack abs but this is just a minor criticism and the package does come with a specific bonus for women. It also achieves results for your health giving a boost to your energy and helping you to lose fat.

The other program, FitYummyMummy, is aimed at women who have had children and gained weight. My wife gained considerable weight during the pregnancy of both our children and has found this very helpful. It is similar to turbulence training with emphasis on interval training and bodyweight exercises which can be performed anywhere and at any time.

It uses a program of 15-30 minute sessions so even busy mothers can find time to implement an exercise regime into their lives. It comes with good nutritional advice and meal planners. It also has workouts for women of all fitness levels from beginners to advanced.

I recommend this program to any woman with a busy lifestyle and children.

Interval training and a good diet can be the Quickest Way To Lose Weight so they are well worth combining.
